Bourbon Sprawl at Mickeys Tavern

Last Saturday was our second gig at Mickeys Tavern in Laurium. We rocked and rumbled and made the dancers stumble… or was that from the drinks? Either way, we had another great time with a great crowd in Laurium. We love the Copper Country! Steve inaugurated his new cymbal, and shelled out an ample supply of cowbell as you can see in the photo above.

The dance floor was hot, but the temperature on the drive home was hovering near freezing. The thick, soupy fog gave way to deceptively clear and dry road for a moment before abruptly turning into an ice glazed wonderland as the moisture from the rain and fog froze in thin sheets on the road.
